“Our Spring WENA meeting, March 26, is WENA Election Time. Every year we have open positions and an election at the Spring meeting, because two positions will open. This year Kevin Anderson and Jim Bergmann are up for re-election. Both plan to run for re-election, but the seats are open for any other interested West Ender. The election was announced first on February 19 via the emails available to WENA and again on March 5 on Facebook. The Election will stay open until the deadline for Intent Statements, noon March 24.
Interested residents/members may submit intent for an open position by emailing a written statement of why they are interested and their qualifications. (No longer than one page.) Submit Intent Statements to Paul Poling chair of the WENA Elections committee at pcpoling@gmail.com
Candidates who are seeking office must attend the WENA March 26 General Membership Meeting and be present for the election process or they will be disqualified. Candidates will receive WENA Election Guidelines when they submit Intents. Guidelines will be provided to members at the beginning of the March 26 General Membership meeting or upon request.”
