September 29th Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Coffee with a Cop a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in Santa Rosa’s neighborhoods. Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction. The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time. October 10th, Monday at 5:30 p.m.- Meet the Candidates Night presented by the Youth Empowerment Council. The candidates for Santa Rosa City Council will be answering questions from youth (ages 24 and younger). . Adults are welcome to come and listen while youth are encouraged to submit questions.
