May 26th, Sunday 10 a.m.- West End Farmers Market Volunteer and Vendor Orientation Day– The West End Farmers Market opens on Sunday June 23rd 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They need volunteers to help with vendor support, parking, market information, bike parking and other items. Facebook
10 a.m. Want to volunteer at the market? They will hold a brief orientation to fill these critical positions.
10:30 a.m. Donahue Street cleanup. Feeling energetic? Please join us after the volunteer orientation at the DeTurk Round Barn at 10:30 on May 26th. We are going to do weed the parking strip, painting the bathrooms and spruce up the market site.
11 a.m. Vendors- All vendors are encouraged to stop by the barn and see where we are placing the vendors and how to best access the market and setup on Sundays. We will have all of the information regarding the operation of the market to better prepare for opening day and be available to answer questions.
Every Friday Night!- West End Bocce Season Join your friends and neighbors at DeMeo Park for an evening of socializing, snacking and bocce. This is a family, kid and dog friendly event. May 27th, Monday at 1 p.m.- Memorial Day Ceremony at the Rural Cemetery. Old Fashioned Decoration Day Commemoration! Honor the day with old fashioned activities. Meet at the Franklin Gate. Free Location: S. R. Rural Cemetery Located at Franklin & Monroe Streets
