Hey West End neighbors: It’s Bocce time! Beginning this Friday (6/2/2023) at 6pm we continue a West End tradition. These gatherings are a great way to check in with your neighbors, share some food and utilize our historic Bocce courts at DeMeo Park. (610 Polk Street, Santa Rosa, CA)
Here’s how it works: Neighbors show up and bring something edible to share. Sometimes it’s all desserts, sometimes it’s all salads. If anyone wants to cook something, we’ll fire up the grill. If you’re not able to bring anything, just bring yourself. It’s BYOB and we practice “zero waste” which means bring your own plates and flatware (or plan to use your fingers). That’s it! Easy, peasy…
A neighbor has obtained permits that allows us to bring alcohol into the park for Bocce every Friday evening through August. Well behaved pets, children, and friends are all welcome! (Pets leashed please.)
The generous folks at 6th Street Playhouse are offering West End residents a “buy one, get one free” deal on tickets to their upcoming production of the musical Something Rotten!. To use this deal you must have (or create) a user account at the Playhouse and purchase your tickets online using the code EEBOGO21 at checkout. This discount applies to any even number of tickets purchased for the same night. 6th Street Theatre will require verification of West End residency.
