The Santa Rosa Downtown Station Area Specific Plan (DSASP) is being updated and this is an opportunity to provide input. The plan is the blueprint for development and preservation in a 650-acre area at the center of the city. Much of the West End is included in the DSASP area.

Residents and businesses have contacted the City of Santa Rosa about increased parking difficulties in the neighborhood. Kim Nadeau, Parking Manager is hosting a meeting to explain what can be done to alleviate the issue. This is a good opportunity to shape the future of parking in our area.

West End Farmers Market canceled for the 2019 season

From Allen Thomas, WEFM Board President:

Due to many reasons WEFM will not put on Farmers Market for the 2019 season. We will continue to maintain our foundation and look to serve our community. We have brought to our community a local food outlet and a safe place to gather for six years.

Foremost safety and heath safety our keys to our events. After many attempts to address these issues at our last location we have decided to cancel our market until these issues can be properly addressed.
