First Saturday Cleanup on Prince Memorial Greenway (ages 5 and up)

Saturday, December 1, 2018
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Meet at Olive Park near 1698 Hazel Street

On the first Saturday of every month, in the heart of our neighborhood, YOU can help take care of Santa Rosa Creek. West End neighbor Stan Gow is the driving force behind this monthly event.

The Greenway provides a home for river otter, kingfishers, steelhead trout as well as parks, public art, and recreation. Visit the City of Santa Rosa Creek Stewardship Page for more information.

Come for a Ride!

Free Holiday Carriage Rides

Hosted by Historic Railroad Square

This is a long time tradition for many of us in the West End.  Bring your family and friends to the Historic Railroad Square Holiday Horse & Carriage Rides. The complimentary rides leave from the Train Depot starting on Friday, November 23rd – and then every weekend through Monday, December 24th. Carriage rides are from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm – weather permitting. On Christmas Eve the rides will end at 2:00 pm.

Have you checked out The Tool Library?

The Santa Rosa Tool library is dedicated to helping people who live or work in Sonoma County reduce the cost of maintaining the places in which they live, work, and play. The tool library offers hand and power tools for landscaping and home repair … free of charge. West End neighbor Russ Scarola is the President of this innovative volunteer run organization.
