June 5th, Tuesday at 6 to 9 p.m. Peace Corps Story Slam Want to have a fun evening out AND help a great cause? Then join the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers for a fun night of storytelling! Peace Corps Volunteers are hosting a story slam and will share some of the highs and lows of their overseas experiences. If you love to hear stories that are funny, poignant, inspirational and from the heart, this story slam is for you! A donation of $10 would be very much appreciated which will go to Face to Face to help end HIV in Sonoma County. This is a fundraiser to help Barney Hoen (one of Santa Rosa’s Founding Fathers) get his long-awaited tombstone.
