New Year’s Eve on the Square

December 31st, Sunday 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.- New Year’s Eve on the Square New Year’s Eve on the Square is the largest New Year’s Eve celebration in Sonoma County. Held in downtown Santa Rosa on the newly renovated Courthouse Square starting at 5pm. There will be live entertainment, activities for all ages, a designated area for kids, along with plenty of vendors serving delicious food and alcohol. This event is free to attend, enjoy and show that Sonoma Strong spirit! New Year’s Eve on the Square is a FREE community event with plenty to enjoy for the whole family, but for those looking for an extra special experience, we have VIP tickets available for purchase. Opening Spring 2018– Miracle Plum is an artisanal neighborhood market and kitchen COMING SOON to historic Railroad Square located in downtown Santa Rosa, California. Miracle Plum offers a welcoming space with highly curated pantry items, fresh staples from the dairy and farm, beautiful kitchen wares, as well as a seasonal menu of prepared food.

 Santa Rosa, CA –  Beginning on Wednesday, December 13, the new ParkSMART shuttle will connect the Downtown SMART station and Railroad Square to Downtown’s parking garages, shops, restaurants and Old Courthouse Square, and best of all it’s FREE! The shuttle is wheelchair accessible, available for everyone to use, and will travel round trip connecting the SMART Station to various points Downtown, with stops at:  Santa Rosa Downtown SMART Station, Bus stop on Third Street at Wilson Street, Downtown Transit Mall and City Parking Garage 12, Fourth Street at Old Courthouse Square, City Parking Garage 1 at Seventh Street, Bus stop on B Street at Santa Rosa Plaza. Shuttle service will operate during peak commute hours, Monday through Friday, on a schedule coordinated with SMART train arrivals and departures. View the ParkSMART schedule and route map.

Parking Changes to Downtown and Railroad SquareOn street meters in the premium zone are in the highest demand parking areas of downtown and Railroad Square.  For those who want the convenience of a space in the highest demand areas of downtown (close to the main shopping/dining areas), the Premium spaces have a 3-hour time limit and are $1.50/hour.
