For more information: City of Santa Rosa Storm Water Team will be at West End Farmers Market this Sunday september 10th. They’ll have information on the Creek Stewardship program and storm water pollution prevention. Stop by a Creek Trail map and find out about the  on . (Gloves, tools, and snacks provided. September 15th, Friday 6-9 p.m.- Cultura, a Celebration of Arte, Photography and Lowriders. Cruise to Railroad Square from Roseland Village Shopping Center starts 5:30- 6 p.m. Location: Historic Railroad Square

September 28th, Thursday at 6:00PM Homeless Encampment Cleanup Pilot Program at Highway 101 6TH Street Underpass & Community Informational Meeting–  In order to provide information about the pilot program and answer questions, the City will hold an informational community. Residents and businesses from the neighborhoods surrounding the encampment are encouraged to come. City staff from Police, Fire, Housing and Community Services, Transportation and Public Works, and Community Engagement will be on hand to answer questions.  Location: DeTurk Round Barn 819 Donahue Street, Santa Rosa.

6th St. at Madison St. Sewer and Water Improvements Project ID No: 01896  This project will affect W. 6th St. from the Madison intersection to approximately 400 feet west. It is expected to start near the end of this month and will last approx. 2 months. For more information go to www.srcity./CIP

Two Zipcars coming to Santa Rosa- Zipcar, the nation’s largest car share company, will soon be deploying two of its vehicles in Santa Rosa. One car will be located at the Depot park, near the Railroad Square SMART station, and one car will be located in Lot 10 (730 5th Street) behind Russian River Brewing. This two year pilot program is sponsored by the Sonoma County Transportation Authority, which received a grant from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, to increase the availability of affordable transportation options.
