August 5th, First Saturday Cleanup on Prince Memorial Greenway (ages 5 to adult) On the first Saturday of every month help take care of restored Santa Rosa Creek flowing through the heart of downtown. The Greenway provides a home for river otter, kingfishers, egrets, and steelhead trout as well as parks, public art, and recreation along the six mile creek trail. Clean-up supplies provided. Location: Meet at Olive Park 10 a.m.
August 10 – September 2 FairyWorlds! is a brand new re-imagining of Shakespeare’s immortal comedy. Visually stunning elements combine with highly physical acting to crate a
version of the play that immerses the audience in the Fairy Worlds of Oberon and Titania. Bring your picnic for a pre-show meal. Beverages available at venue. Please be sure to bring your own chair or blanket and dress in layers because it tends to get cold after sunset. Performances at 8:00pm; Gate opens at 6:00pm $10 – $30 per show $36 Running time: 90 minutes, start to finish.
