 West End Farmers Market- every Sunday 9:30 to 2:00 p.m. It’s all about ME! Start the day out right with Yoga on the Lawn by Yoga One. (Donation based, check in at 8:50, Bring your own mat). Then let Deep Tissue Specialist Mark Senzig work out those aches and pains ($20 for 15 min- 2nd Sunday of every month). Treat yourself a wonderful beverage and something to eat, listen to music and take home fresh wonderful veggies, fruit, meat and bread. You deserve it!

October 16th to November 8th Blithe Spirit The smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages, this much-revived classic offers up fussy, cantakerous novelist Charles Condomine, re-married but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife.  Location: 6th St. Playhouse GK Hardt Theatre

October 10th, Saturday- A Day at the Adobe presented by Historical Society of Santa Rosa A free public event themed around the first building in Santa Rosa, the Carrillo Adobe. October 17th, Saturday 1- 4 p.m.- Community Art Workshop led by artists West Ender Jenny Harp and Breanne Trammell. Learn to wheat-paste while adding color and pattern to the A Street Bridge! Harp and Trammell will be installing their temporary public art project Double Double Rainbow Rainbow in various locations in Downtown Santa Rosa during the week prior to the community workshop. This is one of four installations for Downtown Connect public art project for the Santa Rosa Public Art Master Plan.

October 23rd to November 8th The Rocky Horror Show That sweet transvestite, Frankenfurter, and his motley crew return in the original stage musical that inspired the 1975 cult classic film. Location: 6th St. Playhouse, Studio Theatre

October 24th, Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.- North Bay Science Discovery Day– Hands on Science. Free admission and parking. Plan to spend the day. Location: Sonoma County Fairgrounds

October 31st at 5:30 p.m.- West End Neighborhood Annual Halloween Parade. Show up costumed and ready to strut your stuff around the ‘hood. Family-friendly, well-behaved dogs welcomed. Parade starts at 5:30- be there early to show off your costume and socialize!
