March 20th, Thursday at 7 p.m.- W. E. Neighborhood Spring Meeting. Come out and meet your neighbors. We will have updates about local topics such as the W. E. Farmers Market, Shakespeare in the Cannery and more. Our meetings are a great time to check in as a neighborhood. We can discuss current events and future plans. March 27th,  Thursday at 7:00pm Brief Lives of the North Bay: The Man Who Was Torn By the Bear and Body Found in the Laguna Two men, one in 1833 and one in 1878, worked in the region we know as Sonoma County. Both died violently, unexpectedly and both were buried in unmarked graves. Dr. Daniel Markwyn, Professor Emeritus in history at SSU, will weave the scanty particulars of these two men’s lives into the larger history of nineteenth century Sonoma County and show how two obscure and under-documented events can deepen our understanding of Sonoma County’s history. $7.50 members, $10 gen. public.
