August 10^th, Saturday at 2 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.- The South Park Summer Day & Night Festival is designed by Community Action’s DIG Youth Leadership team. The goal is to promote a safe and healthy in the South Park neighborhood. The event features a health and safety resource fair, music, dance, sports, contests, police displays & demos, and ends with a movie in the park. The Festival is a partnership among Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County, Santa Rosa Recreation & Park and Police Departments, South Park residents. Until Sunday, August 11^th  (closed on Mondays!) Sonoma County Fair. This year “Backyard Blossoms” is the theme of their famous Hall of Flowers Floral Show. Musical highlights: West End favorite- Shannon Rider & Band will be playing the Sonoma County Fair on Saturday, August 10th from 1:15-4:30 (park stage)!
