Time once again to get together and celebrate the West End way of life. Our annual BBQ is along standing tradition and we added a decorated bicycle parade a few years back. Join us… won’t you? Be on the lookout for your copy of the The July 2013 West End Newsletter this week.

2 p.m.– Come to DeMeo to decorate your bike. We will have decorations available at the park.
Decorate your bike for the parade
2:30– Bike Parade begins at DeMeo Park and winds through the neighborhood. This parade is about style NOT speed. Remember anyone under 18 years is required to wear a helmet (it’s the law!)
It’s about style not speed
3 p.m.– West End BBQ. The West End Neighborhood Association will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, condiments, plates, utensils and beverages. ( We encourage you to bring your own reusable ones.) Please bring your favorite dish to share- don’t forget to mark your serving plates and utensils.

We can’t do it without you… so here are a few fun and easy ways you can pitch in to make this BBQ a success. Volunteer to: 1) Be a Bike Marshal during the parade. 2) Help everyone decorate their bikes. 3) help with the set up or break down the picnic area. 4) Cut the lettuce, tomatoes, onions up for the burgers (We’ll buy them- you cut them). 5) Fun ideas for kid activities- face painting, games, races. 6) Run a Bocce tournament. 7) Share your trash can or recycle can (just wheel them to the park in the morning and take it back after the BBQ. Membership Dues for the West End Neighborhood Association help pay for the costs of running the website, our meetings and events. Do you support the West End Neighborhood Association?
