Get in the mood for the season….

Every Weekend and Christmas Eve – Railroad Square Horse and Carriage Rides. Take an old fashioned carriage ride around Historic Railroad Square. This annual holiday tradition begins the weekend after Thanksgiving and continues every weekend in December up to Christmas Eve. Weekend hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m./ Christmas Eve hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Location: Rides start at Depot.

It’s A Wonderful Life

December 1st, Saturday at 1 p.m. Once Upon a Gingerbread House Decorate your own mini gingerbread house & take it home! Use your imagination… plus some gum drops, cereal, candy and frosting… to turn a graham cracker house into a gingerbread dream. All ages! December 1st & 2nd, Saturday & Sunday Luther Burbank Home and Gardens 33rd Annual Holiday Open House. The public is invited to this popular annual community event! Enjoy a 33-year community tradition and begin the season’s celebrations by visiting the historic Home and Gardens of Luther Burbank. Experience a charming reminder of bygone days when you tour the home decked out in Victorian holiday finery inside and out. December 8th, Saturday at 6 p.m.- Light up a Life Tree Lighting- Memorial Hospice’s  annual event. The community is invited to purchase a light in memory or in honor of a loved one. Rain or Shine. For more information, call Hospice at 568-1094. Location: The Depot in Railroad Square

December 14th to 22nd– The Holiday Cabaret-The fabulous female foursome from 6th Street’s smash hit “The Marvelous Wonderettes” grace the cabaret stage to share some of your favorite holiday fare, all arranged in fabulous four-part harmony. December 29th, 30th & 31st– A New Year’s Eve Celebration. Sandy and Richard Riccardi are back again with an all-new comedy cabaret show, sure to be the best way in town to ring in the New Year!
