Volunteers Needed. Fun children’s/family event– September 29th, Saturday- Actors’ Theater for Children -Happy 40th Birthday Party. The City of S. R. Rec & parks and Actors’ Theater for Children are holding a party to celebrate 40 years of bringing live theater to the children of So. Co. Volunteers are needed to help with children’s games (like Bean Bag Toss, Sticky Darts), Food and refreshment, Information booth and more. This  is a family event and open to the public. 6th Street Undercrossing Grand Opening Ceremony

September 10th, Monday 6th Street Undercrossing Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.  Join in the Ceremony to mark the opening of the new 6th Street Undercrossing! This project creates a vital crosstown link for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles. On one side, it opens up into the West End Neighborhood, Railroad Square, the CHOPS Teen Center, the future SMART station, and miles of creek trails. On the other side it provides an easy connection to the Saint Rose Neighborhood and Church, the Sonoma County Museum, the Transit Mall and Downtown. September 15th, Saturday- Back to the Future. Go back in time to celebrate the Lena’s era, and come back to the future to support our teen community!
