6th Street Undercrossing Grand Opening Ceremony
September 10th, Monday 6th Street Undercrossing Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Join in the Ceremony to mark the opening of the new 6th Street Undercrossing! This project creates a vital crosstown link for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles. On one side, it opens up into the West End Neighborhood, Railroad Square, the CHOPS Teen Center, the future SMART station, and miles of creek trails. On the other side it provides an easy connection to the Saint Rose Neighborhood and Church, the Sonoma County Museum, the Transit Mall and Downtown. This special nostalgia themed evening to benefit Chop’s Teen Club includes dinner, live auction, musical performances by teens, dancing to swing era music by Swingin’ On a Vine and will feature special Guest of Honor Henry Trione who will unveil a bronze sculpture of Charles “Chop” DeMeo to be displayed at Chop’s Teen Club.
