City of Santa Rosa Related news: Photos from 6th Street Ribbon Cutting, Creek Week, a Gray Water workshop and a Call for Artists.

6th Street Undercrossing Ribbon Cutting Ceremony happened on September 10th. It was a very celebratory event and speakers included Mayor Ernest Olivares, Rick Moshier (SR Public Works Director), Allen Thomas (West End Neighborhood), Denise Hill (St. Rose Neighborhood) and Lynda Angell (H. R. R. Square Association). The West End looks forward to future improvements to 6th, W. 6th and the intersection of Wilson & 6th that will create a safe bike/pedestrian friendly and well behaved car environment. This will allow everyone to access to West End homes, parks, fabulous businesses, the 6th Street Theater, Arlene Francis Center and Chops Teen Club in addition to the SMART site and miles of creek bike trails accessible off of Pierson Street.
