Ahh the West End- so many things to do. We’re downtown, by the soon-to-be SMART station, next to miles of trails and the Santa Rosa Creek and next to Historic Railroad Square. (Bragging? Well… yes!) Don’t forget! Our yearly Neighborhood BBQ and Bike Parade is on Saturday, July 21st. Old fashioned, home town fun… don’t miss it!

July 21st, Saturday- The Annual West End BBQ and Bicycle Parade. Meet up with friends and neighbors. Have a good time without leaving the neighborhood! Meet at DeMeo Park at 2 p.m. to decorate your bikes, 2:30 p.m. Bike Parade will tour the neighborhood, 3 p.m. BBQ begins. Lots of food, bocce and activities. Don’t miss it! Remember that helmets are required for anyone under 18 years old. Location: DeMeo Park 610 Polk Street Time: 2 p.m.

West End Summer Movie Nights– Watch a movie under the stars. July Movies: July 13th Friday– The Muppets, July 27th Friday– Back to the Future. Movies start at Dark. Bring something to sit on, warm clothes and friends. Free popcorn! Location: DeTurk Round Barn 819 Donahue Street Time: Dark approximately 8:30- 9 p.m.

SummerFest- A Summer Street Party in Railroad Square-The first Summerfest was a huge success! Two more Summerfests are on August 3rd and September 7th- Don’t miss them. Dining, Arts/Crafts, Wine & Beer Tasting and music in Historic Railroad Square was fun for everyone! Cost: Free to the public, and for those wanting to taste wine & craft beers $20
