July 26th, Thursday- Chop’s Teen Club Art Gala. A special evening to showcase the art that was created during the Summer Art Series. This year there was an incredible schedule with guest artists including Arn Anderson, Klaus Rappensperger and Joey Castor, who taught Metal Fabrication, Brino who taught Spray and Acrylic Painting, and Davin Goldstein who taught the Glasswork class. This will be a juried show with guest judges, Ty Jones, Tara Matheny-Schuster and Karin Demarest The evening will also feature appetizers prepared by the Chop’s Catering Crew and music by the Chop’s Jam Band. For Immediate Release: July 19, 2012 Scam Regarding USPS Santa Rosa, CA – Beware of e-mails purportedly sent from the United States Postal Service (USPS) warning you of “failure to deliver” a package that you have sent. The e-mail advises you to print out the attached label and bring it to your local post office to collect the package. The label is attached as a .pdf file to the e-mail and when it is opened, may be releasing possible malware onto your computer. The So. Co. District Attorney’s Office will be posting information regarding scams to increase public awareness. If you have already received an e-mail similar to this and happened to have opened the .pdf file attachedimmediately run your virus scan to determine if your computer has been infected.
