Asphalt, the West End and City Council

This is an important issue that every West End and downtown resident should pay attention to. There are opportunities for you to find out more information and to give input- see below:

The BoDean Company viewed from Cleveland Ave.

June 19th, Tuesday- Notice of Public hearing. The BoDean Asphalt Company (located at 50 Maxwell Court near West College Ave and the railroad tracks) has applied to install three 82 foot storage silos at their facility. The Planning Commission approved the use permit in April on a 3-2 vote.  Citizens for Safe Neighborhoods, a public unincorporated organization, has appealed the Planning Commission decision to the City Council. The council will hear the appeal on NEXT Tuesday, June 19th at City Hall after 5 p.m.
