A few items of interest…

Looking for West End Newsletter carriers for Decker Street, Boyce Street, W. 8th Street. The November newsletter will be out Thursday or Friday. We need neighbors to help deliver it to their neighbors this weekend. It doesn’t take long and it’s a good way to meet the residents on your street. West End Newsletters come out 3 times a year in November, March and July. Email Lea Barron-Thomas if you would like to volunteer.

Otter Alert: This week the Creek Stewardship Program received two reports of otters in Santa Rosa Creek (near West 3rd Street and downstream of Stony Point Road). Otters are energetic, playful, intelligent, and curious.  They stay busy hunting, investigating, or playing with something. So, be on the look out for river otters and enjoy their silly antics! This is another example of how amazing our creeks are and why we need to work together to maintain and preserve this natural resource. See you along the creek… Alistair
