Boo! There’s lots of things to do around town… but if you want to stay in the West End- Here’s your best choices.

October 29th– Chop’s Halloween Carnival An evening of safe and ghoulish fun. All ages welcome- carnival booths and activities are geared toward elementary school age. $4 Location: Chop’s Teen Club 509 Adams Street Time: 5- 8 p.m. Chop’s Teen Club

October 29th Saturday and 30th, Sunday- Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music Calling all Nuns, Goat herders, Hills, Alps, Baronesses, Brown Paper Packages! This is your chance to sing-along to the most successful movie musical of all time. It’s a major audience participation event with subtitled songs to help you follow along, a costume competition and fancy dress parade. You can dress up as anything and everything represented in the classic film. A host leads the audience through a vocal warm up and gives a comprehensive guide to the accompanying actions and use of the interactive funpack. $25 General, $15 Children 14 and younger. Location: 6th Street Playhouse G.K. Hardt Theatre  52 W. 6th Street Time: Oct 29th – 7:00 p.m., Oct 30th 2:00 p.m.

Sing, out loud to your favorite Musical

October 31st, Monday – West End Kid’s Halloween Parade Meet up between 6 and 6:15 to show off your costumes and then we can parade around the neighborhood AND THEN TRICK OR TREAT!!!
