The DeTurk Round Barn’s long awaited transformation is a great success. Not only was an incredible historic building rehabbed and preserved but also a venue for very special, unique events was created. Many of you attended the Grand Opening in March. Since then, the Barn has been the site for a handful of weddings and events. We also hold the West End Neighborhood Association meetings at the barn (very fitting that we meet there!) There will be another kind of event, a Bridal Fashion Show and ArtStart benefit held this June. See below for details.

West End Summer Movie Nights at DeTurk Round Barn– Watch movies under the stars. Movie schedule posted on DeTurk Park Bulletin Board (by dog park) Bring a blanket, warm clothes and friends. Free Popcorn. Location: DeTurk Round Barn Park 819 Donahue Street Time: Movies start at dark- 8:30 to 9 p.m. As soon as it is dark enough to project. If it rains, the event is canceled. Questions? New DeTurk Bulletin Board
The New West End Neighborhood Association Bulletin Board at DeTurk Round Barn Park is a good place to gather information about the neighborhood. The West End Summer Movie nights schedule, Dog Park party info and various other items are posted there. There is also a City of S. R. Bulletin Board Posted by the our Heritage Rose Garden- it will list information about the DeTurk Round Barn’s events.
