This is an important alert for cat owners or other animals that may be exposed.
If any of you Westenders have outdoor cats, or indoor-outdoor cats, our neighbors on Seventh St just told us that three of the feral cats they have been feeding for several years have been poisoned. They come back from somewhere and die a terrible, painful death under their house. Please be aware, and watch your pets. They are apparently getting the poison from something that is attracting them. The Humane Society has been alerted, along with the SR Police. Please contact one of the agencies if you are suspicious of anything. Thank you.
