September 3rd, Friday 6 p.m.- West End Summer Bocce– Only 3 Bocce nights left this season! Join your friends and neighbors at beautiful DeMeo Park. Bring food to share- this is part of the experience. Bocce is an all age, dog friendly event. To keep the event enjoyable and comfortable for all- please remember to observe Park rules: No glass, dogs on leashes. The West End Neighborhood Association has procured a Special Alcohol Permit and Lavatory for West End Summer Bocce. West End Bocce is also on facebook .

September 3rd, Friday-  Summer Nights in Railroad Square – 6PM to 9PM Last one. A summer long celebration on the first Friday of every month, June to September in Historic Railroad Square.  Summer Nights info Warning for dog lovers: Summer nights now does not allow dogs.

September 4th, Saturday 10 a.m. – First Saturday Clean up– Meet at Olive Park. Come join us as we learn about and clean the Creek. Get to know your neighbors, and people from other neighborhoods. The Creek connects us all, so we all need to take care of it. Afterwards join us for lunch. A main dish, salad and drinks will be provided. Please bring utensils as we do not want to create more waste. Desserts and side dishes always welcome. Project coordinator is the West End’s own Stan Gow. First Saturday Cleanup info

SMART Santa Rosa Railroad Square Station Site– West End residents and West End Neighborhood Association Board members, Carol Dean & Allen Thomas urge the SMART board to open any meetings, discussions or decision to the public. Street Sweeper is scheduled to come the first Friday, usually early morning, of every month.  Move your cars off the curb to allow sweepers to remove all debris.
