The contractor will be utilizing the SMART property at Railroad Square as a construction material storage and construction staging area. Yoga Every Monday & Friday- Join Tara Garland RYT of Wild Orchid Yoga. All levels & all ages welcome, beginners through seasoned yogis & yoginis! Tara Garland is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and Relax and Renew restorative yoga-trained. Classes are one hour and fifteen minutes of various asana (pose) sequences designed to provide a well-balanced practice. Sylvester needs to go home… or perhaps needs a new home- From a neighbor…..We woke this morning to the meowing of a wayward cat. Black with a white chest and little white on the face, also featuring white feet. Seems pretty well domesticated but could have been on the lam for a while. This feline seems to have adopted our porch at 115 6th Street, right next door to the Redwood Gospel Mission. We’re putting some food out to keep him/her around, in hopes the owners will read this. We can’t take him/her in due to our resident bunnies. Good Day to All, Jason 115 6th

Free but donations to support SRJC’s Planetarium are gratefully appreciated. Seating on a first-come, first-served basis; so arrive early enough to pick up your free parking permit, return it to your vehicle, and arrive back at planetarium by show start. Don your wooly knickers for a leisurely 16-mile along the Joe Rodota Trail to Burbank’s Gold Ridge Farm in Sebastopol (and back). The So. Co. museum’s Eric Stanley’s stories and facts will help you imagine how the route looked when Burbank rode it. Bring: Helmet, water, snacks, clothing layers in case of a inclement wheather. Helmets required for under 18 yrs. and recommended for riders of all ages and require all riders to sign a liability waiver. Parks Ranger on a guided hike to the east ridge of Tolay Lake Regional Park. Learn about this incredible property and its history. A 30-minute presentation in the Stone Floor barn will cover cultural resources of the Tribe, their connections to the land and more. Hike requires good physical condition. October 1^st, Saturday- Levi’s GranFondo.This year 7,500 participants from all over the world (and many locals!) will ride the beautiful roads of Sonoma County. This event makes alot of money for worthy causes. NOTE: Between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. the north side of the Prince Memorial Greenway creek path between Willowside Rd. & Stony Point Rd. will be heavily traveled by eastbound GranFondo cycling traffic . Maxfield Arts and the Fun Bike Unicorn Club (FBUC) present an exciting new attraction for Harmony Festival 2011 titled The Steampunk Garage, including Santa Rosa-based builders also known as Whiskeydrunk Cycles, Todd Barricklow, Krank-Boom-Clank and The Feed Barn, all of whom are intimately entwined with the North Bay’s popular annual Hand-car Regatta. Opening Bocce Night Friday May 20th

Ahhh… good times are just ahead. Bocce season is opening Friday Night and there’s a summer full of fun events ahead.

Friday Night, May 20th- West End Summer Bocce begins. It’s finally time to spend wonderful nights at DeMeo Park! Bocce is a most incredible social event- and lucky for us it is EVERY Friday night! Bring a dish to share. The West End Neighborhood Association has procured a use permit that allows us to to drink a little wine (in the true Italian style) while we play bocce. July 16th, Saturday- West End Neighborhood Annual BBQ and Bicycle Parade. Decorate your favorite human powered contraption and ride in the parade! (Remember- 18 years and younger must wear bike helmets.) BBQ to follow.

July 10th- August 14th -Live at Julliard. Every Sunday evening- enjoy live music in a beautiful setting. Most important dates (featuring West End artists!) July 10th- Miss Kitty and the Big Dogs, August 14th- Quarter Mile Combo. Two awesome bands you will not want to miss!
