The last couple of weeks have been very busy. Recent photos from these events are in the West End’s photo gallery. Many of us have always known that Downtown is the place to live- but apparently others are starting to discover it for themselves- see Fall Santa Rosa Magazine info below.

DeTurk Round Barn construction project is nearing the end. The exterior of the building and grounds may be completed as early as mid-November. The interior work may be finished by the beginning of December. Either way, the grounds have been cleaned up in preparation for landscaping and some of the final details are starting to show up like lighting and bike racks. For more photos click here!

The Fall Santa Rosa Magazine just came out and it highlights the Downtown as a place to Live, Work and & Play.  It also highlights a few special folks such as Lynda Angell (Tireless Railroad Square leader), & Kevin Konicek and Michelle Zyromski (St. Rose residents who live in a gorgeous, historic family home on B Street). There’s a beautiful spread on Railroad Square restaurants and pubs. Welcome downtown!

Crime Alert: A neighbor reports that yesterday when she got home- she saw a man selling strawberries door to door. When she heard her doorbell ring, she didn’t answer the bell because she didn’t want to buy strawberries. The bell kept ringing & ringing, so she looked out the window to verify who it was… and right then the guy started jiggling her door knob. Luckily her door was locked! Thanks for the report.
