October 3rd, Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.-  Fondo Sonoma Festival at Finley Community Park- 2060 West College Ave, Santa Rosa. Fondo Sonoma is a day long festival and Bike Expo at the Finley Community Park. Come out and enjoy live music, many delights from the bicycle world, artisan foods, wine tasting, kids’ fun races and more. Entry is free. Bike path alert: Between 9 a.m. & 6 p.m. -the North side of Prince Greenway creek path between Willowside and Stony Point Road will be heavily traveled by east bound GranFondo cycling traffic.

September 18th ,Friday evening 6 p.m.- West End Summer Bocce at DeMeo Park. LAST NIGHT!!! Be there early. Official group photo will be taken under the tree at 6:15.  Wear your West End Tshirts. “Bocce Nights” Tshirts ($15) are still available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the West End Neighborhood Association and the Great West End and Railroad Square Hand-Car Regatta. Enjoy beautiful summer evening at DeMeo Park with your neighbors and friends. Bring food and drink to share. Well behaved dogs are welcomed.

September 19th, Saturday morning 9:30 – 11 a.m.- Prince Memorial Greenway walk- Meet at Court House Square Ages 12- Adult. Stretch your legs on a 4-mile walk along Santa Rosa Creek with former City Council member Steve Rabinowitsh and the Sonoma County Stompers. One of our neighbors and a member of the S. R. City Council was robbed on the Prince Memorial Greenway late on the 4th of July. The West End would like to extend its sympathy and support to Veronica.
