Thursday, October 29th 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Downtown Station Area Specific Plan- Open House. Come and learn about land use and design changes in: Railroad Square, Courthouse Square and Parks & Garden sub-areas. Location: Finley Community Center, Live Oak Room 2060 W. This will be the last one until spring.**** NOTE THE 8:00 TIME ****Join your neighbors this Friday night to watch a movie outside, projected against the De Turk Round Barn.  Bring a blanket & such to sit on and keep warm with. ** Also bring a cup or small bowl to get some free popcorn or hot chocolate or hot cider (we’re not sure which, yet) **We’ll be watching Ghostbusters this week. There’s always something fun to do when you live in the West End. This Week:

Friday, October 9th, 8 p.m.- Movie Night at DeTurk Round Barn.  Join your neighbors this Friday night just after dark at ** 8:00 ** pm to watch a movie outside, projected against the DeTurk Roundbarn. Bring a blanket & such to sit on (and to wrap yourself in as it gets cooler).** Also bring a cup or small bowl to get some free popcorn ** We’ll be watching Drumline this week. Sunday, October 11th at 3 p.m.- West End Alley Cat Race at Toad in the Hole Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, the 2nd annual alley cat race and food drive is finally here! Come out and support the Redwood Empire Food Bank as a participant in the race, with donations of food, or by bidding on the bicycles that will be auctioned off. This Friday night, August 28th

West End Summer Bocce at DeMeo Park 6 p.m. Join your neighbors and friends at DeMeo park for conversation, potluck and bocce. Last Bocce night is Sept. 18th- only 4 weeks left. We will be taking our yearly Bocce group photo under the Paradox Walnut tree on the last night. Get your bocce shirt for the photo! They are stylish, feature the likeness of some of your favorite neighbors and are only $15. Proceeds help fund the Great West End & Railroad Square Hand-car Regatta and West End Neighborhood events.

Sunday, August 16th Pug Sunday at DeTurk Round Barn Dog Park 10 a.m. : Hi everyone! Just a reminder that the next Santa Rosa Pugs play day is this Sunday. De Turk Round Barn Dog Park is a fenced-in, leash free area. A water faucet is available at the park to keep your dog hydrated. Please observe park rules and regulations so that this will be an enjoyable experience for all. Please no food or snacks within the fenced area for the safety of our pugs as well as other dogs that may visit the park after us. And, of course, any friendly dogs/breeds are always welcome.
