The 4th Annual 2011 Great West End and Railroad Square Handcar Regatta & Exposition of Mechanical and Artistic Wonders is on September 25th Sunday,  11 a.m. to 6 p.m. As tradition dictates…. it will be blazing hot… so dress with that in mind. Halloween in the West End started on Saturday with the Chops Teen Club Carnival and continued on Sunday when we had the 1st Annual West End Kids Halloween day Parade. Chops Teen Club’s Halloween Carnival was very well attended. Families could enjoy carnival game booths, a jumpy house, face painting, mask making and more. For photos, click here! This will be a very busy weekend for Railroad Square and the West End Neighborhood. It’s been a busy summer with lots of fun events happening in the West End. The West End Summer Picnic and BBQ was a friendly and relaxed gathering of friends and neighbors. This year, we  started the event off with our first ever Bicycle Parade. From the Hennepin Crawler to  Todd Barricklow’s Two Penny bicycle to festive, decorated bicycles- it was an exciting of collection self-propelled wheeled objects. For photos of the event, Click Here!
