West End Summer Bocce at DeMeo Park 6 p.m. Only 3 bocce Fridays left! Spend a pleasant evening enjoying friends, neighbors and the West End. Bring food and drink to share. There has been a request for Spanish Rice-   Hello!  Ben & I are going to make our famous( well almost famous) chicken enchilada’s for bocce night.So arrive early because they go fast. Walk About Santa Rosa- This Saturday, 9:30 a.m. Meet at Depot Park in Railroad Square. West End Neighborhood and SMART site featured this Saturday. Tour led by Allen Thomas. This is a great opportunity for you or your holiday guests learn more about this wonderful neighborhood Wear walking or hiking shoes. Comfortable, layered clothing. Bring water. No smoking on walks.

Walk About Santa Rosa is a City of Santa Rosa program that allows us to explore our neighborhoods, take in the beauty of our architecture, or just meet up with our neighbors. Walks are planned for the first and third Saturday of the month (June thru October). For more information please call Laneil Bryant at 543-3734

Thursday June 4th-  Design Review Board – Thursday June 4, 2009 at 5:00 P.M.City Hall, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue, City Council Chambers Design Review Agenda

West End Village 701 WILSON STREET – Preliminary Design Review for demolition of existing buildings on-site and construction of 42 attached single-family (“Row Home”) units, and the rehabilitation of an historic building. The proposal includes the construction of four new buildings, 69 total parking spaces, and 9 optional live/work spaces. The historic building will maintain approximately 4,738 square feet of commercial use space.
