West End Neighborhood Dog Friendly- June

Do you enjoy the DeTurk Round Barn dog park? Then join the DeTurk Round Barn Dog Park Fan facebook page. Keep up with events, news and other park regulars. Facebook  Safety Tip- Use the Double Gate Entry at Dog Park. It allows you to enter with your dog and (very important) assess the energy at the dog park when other dogs are present. If it looks okay- then you can slip off your dog’s leash and enter. If you don’t feel comfortable- (perhaps there are too many dogs or too much energy)- it is your responsibility as your dog’s guardian to not enter. Take a walk instead…. you can always come back later. The double gate entry also helps to prevent dog escapees! It’s a good idea. We could use your plastic bags at the dog park! Hang them on the fence… we’ll take it from there. June 9th, Sunday at 10 a.m. West End Small Dog Hour– A slower, downsized environment for the smaller dog to play in.
