Feb. 10th to Feb. 26th- “Proof” On a weekend following the death of her father (a famous mathematician), romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draws Catherine into the most difficult problem of all – how much of her father’s madness ‘or genius’ will she inherit? “Proof” explores the power of love, trust and talent with thoughtfulness and humor as Catherine must deal with her own volatile emotions; the arrival of her estranged sister; and the attentions of Hal, a former student of her father’s who hopes to find valuable work in the 103 notebooks that her father left behind. February 11th, Saturday- Ken Risling and Avery Risling-Sholl Singer songwriter Ken Risling and traditional musician Avery Risling-Sholl (in his first feature performance since his return from Scotland) will play the night away with original songs and music from the Appalachians to banks of Aberdeen. Duets and solos, you will be serenaded by voice, guitar and fiddle while you sip your drink and eat your treats at the wonderful warm atmosphere of the coffee house on railroad square.
