West End Farmers Market opens THIS Sunday April 3rd 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in our NEW location in Historic Railroad Square. Ribbon Cutting with Supervisor Shirlee Zane, Mayor John Sawyer and Railroad Square Pres. Don Taylor at 9 to 9:30. Redwood Empire Chinese Association‘s Dragon will help open up the market for our 2016 season. Farmers, Food, Family Friendly and Free.

April 2nd, Saturday 10 to Noon- First SATURDAY Cleanup Join neighbors and youth in the care of Prince Memorial Greenway the first Saturday of every month. Clean-up supplies provided. Organized by Stan Gow & City of SR Storm Water Team . Location: Meet at 10 a.m. at Olive Park

April 3rd, Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.-  Jack Leissring Open Studio. This is the first opening for the year of 2016. Jack’s “Home for Fine Art” is actually an amazing art collection (now totaling over 6000 pieces, including 510 works of sculpture) right here in the West End.  Location: 622 Davis St.

April 30th, Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM The Eco-Friendly Garden Tour The Eco-Friendly Garden Tour is a public outreach and education program that promotes sustainable landscaping practices by showcasing inspiring gardens throughout Sonoma County and North Marin.

The 2016 Tour features three gardens in the West End Neighborhood and Historic District. Terry Allan, Justin and Eryn Whitaker, and Deborah Crippen will have their garden gates wide open on Saturday April 30th between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. These gardens are fantastic examples of drought tolerant gardens that are beautiful and productive. We hope that you can come out and support your neighbors and perhaps get inspired to transform your own landscape.
