The West End is Full of Theater

West End Stories – Apprentice Company Spring Production Sixteen young cast members (ages 10 to 17) will create and perform an original theater piece based on interviews the conduct with fascinating community members about life in Santa Rosa’s West End neighborhood, past and present. Cast members will take the funniest, most moving, most thought provoking moments from those interviews, and bring them to life through various forms of collaborative theatre, song, dance, paint, video, photography, masks, mime, and other potent ways of telling a story and creating a compelling and powerful original theater piece. Times: Friday, April 29 @ 7:00 pm/ Saturday, April 30 @ 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm Sunday, May 1 @ 2:00 pm Adults – $15, Child (5-12) $10 Location: 6^th St. Playhouse

Until April 17th Silent Sky the story of Henrietta Leavitt, a Massachusetts pastor’s daughter who leaves her home and beloved sister for a job at Harvard University’s Observatory. Despite her lowly position and limited access to scientific equipment, Henrietta makes an amazing discovery about the cosmos and about love. But will she get the credit? West End Actors Take Note – Auditions announced at 6th St. Playhouse. 6th Street Playhouse will be seeing Adult and Child actor/singers, by appointment only, for roles in the upcoming 2016-2017 Season of plays and musicals. Saturday, May 28th from 11 AM – 6 PM & Sunday, May 29th from 12:30 PM – 7 PM Both audition days will be held at The Studio Theatre at 6th Street Playhouse, located at 52 W. 6th Street, Unit B, Santa Rosa, CA 95401
