January 9, 2016 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.- Courthouse Square Community Meeting. This is your second opportunity to give feedback and review preliminary design concepts. The Courthouse Square reunification project is the highest profile public infrastructure project for downtown Santa Rosa in the past 30 years. The City Council voted to reunify Courthouse Square to create a dynamic community gathering space and encourage downtown investment. Location: 19 Old Courthouse Square. Public entrance accessible on Third St.
January 14th at 8:30a.m at Thursday SRPD Coffee with a Cop. Officers from the Santa Rosa Police Department and community members will come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee.
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by The United States Department of Justice and Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.

Final Call for Art Entries for the National Arts Program Exhibition & Competition! Registration deadline is January 11, 2016.
This annual program allows residents of Santa Rosa or City of Santa Rosa employees and their families to enter one piece of artwork into a community exhibition at the Finley Community Center. Registration is FREE and open to all ages and levels of experience. Cash prizes and art class scholarships are awarded in adult and youth categories.
