Opens this Weekend: A Christmas Carol – Apprentice Production The Apprentice Company is comprised of fifteen actors ages 8 – 17 and is designed to give the students a comprehensive theatrical experience culminating in the presentation of the play A Christmas Carol. The nine weeks of ‘training’ includes, acting, movement and dance for stage, script analysis, vocal and dialects work and singing. December 12 @ 10am, December 13, 14, 15 @ 7pm; Tickets $15 for adults / $10 for children 5-12 years Location: 6th St. Playhouse, G.K. Hardt Theatre

December 12th, Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Courthouse Square Reunification Community Meeting Santa Rosa seeks community input to help guide local design team Carlile Macy on the reunification of Courthouse Square. This upcoming community meeting will be the first of two public meetings. At this first meeting, city staff and the Carlile Macy design team will receive input about what the community would like to see in the new redesign. At the second community meeting in early January, the design team will present concepts based on feedback received from the December meeting and from the online survey. Location: 19 Old Courthouse Square. The public entrance for this community meeting will be accessible on Third Street and there will be signage to help guide people.

The City of Santa Rosa is going to reunify Courthouse Square and YOU can be part of the design process! The reunification of Santa Rosa’s Courthouse Square is a high priority infrastructure improvement project. We invite you to be part of the design process by completing a short survey to tell us about the improvements you’d like to see built in the reunified Square.

December 27, 2015, 1:00 -5:00 PM, Sunday Jack Leissring Studio Opening– A world class art collection right in the West End. This is the final studio opening for the year 2015. There is a special treat in store for visitors: Maria de Los Angeles, who is now teaching at the Pratt Institute in New York, is bringing new drawings and paintings. Auditions- Tuesday December 15 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM Actors’ Theater For Children is holding auditions for their March 2016 production of VELVETEEN RABBIT.
