Flying Crane Qigong Utilize movement, breath and visualization to train one’s energy or Qi.This qigong class can be done sitting or standing and will increase flexibility, balance and stamina. Instructor Aleta Drummond, MD is a practicing Pyschiatrist and Medical Acupuncturist with over 20 years as a practitioner of yang style Tai Chi and other various Qigong forms.

Change with Agility- Feldenkrais Awareness Movement. Whether you are 14, 25, 45 or 80, you are changing! Do you want to be more agile, flexible or fluid from head to toe! In this class you will 1) become more conscious of how you move and how your thinking and emotions influence your movements and 2) increase your ability to direct change for yourself. Through gentle, non-competitive movement sequences, Feldenkrais teaches you to move more efficiently and with less effort. You will clarify you mind-body-brain connection. Reduce strain caused by driving or using a computer, improve your sport, yoga or dance. Learn to increase grace, breath more easily, reduce joint/muscle pain and back pain, improve balance and posture and expand your sense of wellness. No special clothing and no experience required and it is fun! Bring a blanket or mat to lie on. Instructor Margot Schaal is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.

Movement for Painters and Painting for Movers. A class designed to encourage the creative process through art and movement. Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons and drawing/marking/painting on paper will be used to 1) Learn how patterns of movement influence your brain and your expression of painting/drawing 2) Move in new ways, exploring a sensory experience that refine or expands your physical practice. People with all levels of experience are welcome. Bring your own mat. Instructor Margot Schaal is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.
