This is important… take a moment to voice your concern. Closing our streets to open an at-grade crossing at Jennings is a bad idea on many levels. The community deserves a safe crossing at Jennings (a bridge) and to keep connectivity on our streets.
November 11th, Wednesday at 5 p.m. is the deadline to send in your comments regarding the proposed at grade-crossing at Jennings. An at-grade crossing at Jennings will mean the closure of 1 or 2 West End/Railroad Square Streets. Your email should include your concerns, your preference for an over-crossing at Jennings (a safer alternative that will keep our streets open), and they are looking for questions about the effects of how closing our streets will affect the West End and Railroad Square area. Take a moment to send an email to Jessica Jones, Senior Planner, Community Development Dept., email@example.com
