December 4th, 6 p.m. at Finley Center, Person Auditorium, 2060 W. College Ave.- Notice of preparation and notice of scoping meeting for an environmental impact report for the Jennings Ave. Pedestrian and bicycle rail crossing Project. December 7th, Saturday – Railroad Square Merchant Open House 12-5 p.m. & Memorial Hospice Tree lighting6-7 p.m. .Carolers, refreshments, sales and holiday cheer… a good way to enjoy your holiday shopping. Tree lighting and ceremony at Depot Park. Railroad Square Complimentary Horse and Carriage rides every weekend after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve day (weather permitting). National Arts Program in S. R. Residents are invited to enter a piece of artwork for exhibition and competition. Registration now open until January 10th. Free and open to all ages and levels of experience. Cash prizes and art class scholarships are awarded in adult and youth categories. Reception and awards ceremony March 2nd.
