Bocce, Movie night and a Farmers Market…. all in the same neighborhood in one weekend.

West End Summer Bocce every Friday evening at 6 p.m. at DeMeo Park– Meet your friends and neighbors for food, drink, gossip and a bit of bocce. Family friendly. Well behaved dogs are invited to attend. Bring food and/or drink to share. No glass at park! Location: DeMeo Park W. 7th and Polk St.

June 21st, Friday- West End Summer Movie Nights- The Muppets (The Original). Friday nights at DeTurk Round Barn Park. Bring a blanket, warm clothes and friends. Free popcorn. June 23rd, Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.- The West End Farmers Market. Fresh veggies, fruit, baked delights, delicious prepared foods, beverages and specialty items will be available at the market. Many of the vendors reside or are located in the West End or downtown. June 27- 30th– 10 minute Play Festival. 7 playwrights, 7 plays, 6 directors and 10 actors bring you this year’s delectable offerings;  all seven plays will be produced in an intimate setting in the 6th Street Studio Theatre. June 29th, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to Noon- Whitewater Rodeo on Santa Rosa Creek  Build a toy boat and race it down the shallow rapids. Wear shoes that can get wet (no sandals). Laughs and prizes, everyone is a winner! Don’t have time to build a boat? Materials and assistance will be available that morning to craft your own vessel.
