Great weekend ideas!  Are you feeling like some art? You are in  luck because there is a very local, very tiny art event this Friday night right here in the West End. On Saturday, you can enjoy our beautiful creekwhile you spend a little time helping it stay clean.

March 1st, Friday at 6 to 9 p.m.- Epic 3D- A Tiny Art Event. Come see local artists Arn Anderson, Todd Baricklow, Joey Castor, Daniel Graham, Joe Hicks, and Charles Marr show off their 3D skills through the medium of Diorama.

March 1st, Friday – First Friday Night Sky Program.  First Friday Night Sky programs are offered on the first Friday of the month until May 2013. Show content will vary with emphasis on the stars, constellations, planets, and other interesting facts in or about the sky that night. Although admission is free, donations to support SRJC’s Planetarium are gratefully appreciated. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis; so arrive early enough to pick up your free parking permit, return it to your vehicle, and arrive back in the planetarium by the scheduled show start time. March 2nd, Saturday-  at 10 a.m. First SATURDAY Cleanup . Join neighbors and youth in the care of Prince Memorial Greenway the first Saturday of every month. Clean-up supplies provided. Organized by Stan Gow & Chop’s Teen Club. For more info go to http://firstsaturdaycleanup.org

DeTurk Round Barn Dog Park– Don’t look now… but we finally have new handles to the gates at the dog park.  Hopefully these new handles will last a long, long time! Don’t forget… our tiny dog park has a facebook page DeTurk Round Barn Dog Park Fans.
