Need to fix your dog or cat… but don’t have the funds?  – Every month Sonoma County Animal Care and Control (SCACC) offers a limited number of spay/neuter vouchers to obtain low cost surgery for your pet.  Qualifying low-income county residents may receive a dog or cat spay/neuter voucher to redeem at participating veterinary clinics that provide spay/neuter surgeries for $20 for a dog and $10 for a cat.  Sonoma County pays the remaining veterinary cost through the voucher program. To obtain a spay/neuter voucher you must call (707) 565-7105 on the first Wednesday of the month, beginning at 9:00am. Vouchers will be issued to qualified low income Sonoma County residents and feral cat caregivers and non-profit groups on a first call, first serve basis. Additional funding for the low-cost spay/neuter voucher program through the end of the year has been provided by The local non-profit Friends of the Animals in the Redwood Empire (FAIRE).
