The Community Advisory Board (CAB) can help you bring your ideas to life with a Community Improvement Grant up to $1,000! Community Improvement Grants are available to neighborhood groups -Projects which encourage neighborhood or groups “sweat equity” and/or enhance working together as a team rather than mostly contracted out labor, will be given greater weight. If you are an individual, you will need to show community involvement and “buy-in” for the project. Clean-Up Your weeds , Quick! Fire season will be here soon and so will Weed Abatement Inspections performed by the Santa Rosa Fire Department. All parcels less than 5 acres in size must have all combustible growth in excess of 4” in height disked or mowed and then removed. Sidewalks, planter strips, alleys and ditches adjacent to your parcel are the responsibility of the property owner. The Santa Rosa Police Department frequently updates it’s Crime Statistics page. One of its’ new features is an interactive crime mapping software through RAIDS Online (www.raidsonline.com) that allows residents access to information on crimes occurring in their neighborhood.
