West End Dog is missing from Lincoln Street near Cleveland.

LOST DOG!! On Sunday 9/26 our sweet little girl Tina went missing. Tina is a tan and white chihuahua. She was wearing a pink collar. Our door was left open for a brief moment as recycling was taken out, in the time she decided to head outside to check things out. We did not notice that she had gone out. It was only a short time before we realized she was not in the house and we went looking for her. A neighbor said that he saw a latino man talking to her and calling her. The man left in his car but the neighbor was not sure if he had taken her. We are devastated by her loss and want her home. She is extremely friendly with all people and other animals. She will go to anyone which is what made it so easy for her to possibly have been taken. Please keep your eye out for her. She is microchipped but that only helps if she is picked up by animal control or taken to a vet. We are offering a reward her safe return home. Please help us!  Kameron   707/799-9279

West End Bocce & West End Movie Night at DeMeo Park- The weather was kind and thus our last Bocce and Movie night were well attended and enjoyed by all. We took our yearly photo under the Paradox Walnut tree- biggest group ever. Everyone brought food- fresh garden tomatoes, home baked pie, cobbler & cookies, wonderful BBQ meats and more. Lights added a festive glow to the bocce courts and park.  Ben Rosales, a professional photographer, took beautiful pictures of the last night. West End Bocce is a special time to gather with friends, family and neighbors. Thanks to Guy Dean,  Allen Thomas, Heather Rosales & Kernan Coleman. These folks were the stalwart backbone that always put in an extra effort to make Bocce wonderful for everyone.  Paul & Veronica Jordan are the force behind the West End Movie nights. September 17th, Friday- West End Summer Bocce The LAST ONE!!!  Our tradition is to take a group photo under the tree. We will take the photo around 6:40- before it’s too dark. So be on time and dress to impress. In addition to our standard group shot, we will attempt to get a “kids only” group photo.  Bring food to share. Bocce is an all age, dog friendly event. To keep the event enjoyable and comfortable for all- please remember to observe Park rules: No glass, dogs on leashes. The West End Neighborhood Association has procured a Special Alcohol Permit and Lavatory for West End Summer Bocce. Wear layers for chilly nights. West End Bocce is also on facebook . Location: DeMeo Park  Time: 6 p.m.

Neighborhood Watch Suggestion- “You might let people know about 2 ways of notifying easily! 1. speed dial SR police as your 1 #. Not 911, that # is Vallejo CHP dispatch 2. program the police # in your phone under…acop. It is the first # on your list. 3.  program your emergency persons contact# under ICE= in case of emergency”.  Missy
