Maria Juana Flores, the Santa Rosa woman who was killed last Friday afternoon (Oct. 23rd) on Highway 116 in Cotati was a resident of the West End. Juana was running an errand for her sister, Elvia Rodriguez-Chaves, a recent widow. Elvia’s husband died just a week earlier and leaving her the sole parent to four children from 3 months to 14 years old.
Juana left three children.
To help the family with this terrible tragedy, friends have opened relief funds at Exchange Bank. The one for the Flores family (019-50-14-766) and the one for the Rodrigues-Chaves family (019-50-14-808).
